Who the Site is for

The Site is intended for adults: educators, school and district staff, parents and guardians, and other education professionals. Our materials are designed to be used with children under an adult's direction, but children are not our customers and should not submit information to us.

What we offer

We provide curriculum design, digital learning resources, and related consulting and training. Descriptions on the Site are for general information. We may change, add, or retire offerings at any time.

Your license to our materials

When you obtain a resource from us, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for your own teaching, your own classroom or household, or, for a district or organization, the seats and sites named in your agreement. You may not resell, redistribute, publicly post, or sublicense our materials, or use them to train or fine-tune AI models, without written permission.

All Studio Aletheia content, including the World Builders Academy curriculum, the Aletheian characters and avatars, artwork, animations, text, code, and design, is owned by Studio Aletheia, LLC or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law.

Orders and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc.; we do not store full card numbers. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. We may correct pricing errors and cancel orders affected by them.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Site: no unlawful activity, no attempts to break, scrape, or overload it, no uploading malware, and no impersonation. We may suspend access if you do.

Educational content and AI

Our resources are teaching aids, not a guarantee of any learning outcome, test score, or evaluation result. Some resources are created or supported with AI tools. Please review materials for fit and accuracy before using them with students. Nothing on the Site is legal, professional, or compliance advice.

Third-party links

The Site links to services we don't control, for example Canva and social media platforms. We're not responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers and limits of liability

The Site and materials are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Studio Aletheia will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state courts of Horry County, South Carolina, or, where federal jurisdiction exists, the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The effective date above shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
