Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you use our contact form we receive the details you enter, such as your name, email address, and message. If you join our email list, we collect your email address through Substack. If you buy from us, our payment processor, Stripe, collects your payment and billing details; we receive your name, email, order details, and a confirmation, but not your full card number.
• Information collected automatically. Our website platform, Squarespace, records visit data such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and approximate location, using cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy.

How we use information

To reply to your inquiries, deliver purchases and support, send emails you asked for, keep the Site secure and prevent spam, understand how the Site is used, and meet legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us run the Site, under their own privacy terms: Squarespace (hosting, analytics, forms, commerce), Stripe (payment processing and fraud prevention), Substack (our email newsletter, which stores subscriber emails and sends our messages), and Google (reCAPTCHA spam protection on our contact form and Google Fonts for typography). We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children's privacy

The Site is directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Educators and parents: please do not send us student names, records, or other personally identifiable information about students through our forms or email. We do not need it to provide our resources or consulting.

Email

Our newsletter is delivered through Substack, which handles signup, delivery, and unsubscribing under its own privacy policy. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message, and we will honor opt-outs within 10 business days, as the CAN-SPAM Act requires.

Retention and security

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires, for example order records for tax purposes. We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop emailing you, by contacting us below. Residents of some states have additional rights under state privacy laws; we will honor valid requests. You can control cookies through our cookie banner and your browser settings. We treat browser Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information.
